Embossing folders are a fun tool to use to create fast dry embossed designs. In my 2 cards today, I have a simple one layer card that is embossed with the Manhattan Flower embossing folder and the message is stamped on with Iridescent Ice Embossing power.

This one uses Baja Breeze cardstock and was so simple to do. Now if I could only get my photography to turn out as well as the cards! My second embossed card was very fun but very messy to make. I took the folder and coated one side with Versamark first, ran it thru the Big Shot and then used Clear Embossing powder and my heat gun to make the depressed areas glossy.
Cool, huh?! I then cut out around the embossed image and glued it to my card front and stamped the text mesage in the upper corner. My cardstock was Old Olive and Barely Banana and the ink was Always Artichoke and Versamark with clear embossing powder. These were part of Challenge 22 on StampinUp LNStampers.
