In my playing around with the Manhattan Flower embossing folder, I tried several different techniques. I have already shown you what it looks like when you heat emboss using versanark on the folder. For this next sample I inked up the side of the folder with outline depressed with regal rose classic ink, placed a piece of Barely Banana cardstock inside the folder and ran it through the Big Shot. I trimmed it and glued it to the front of a standard card base of Bashful Blue and Stamped the Happy Birthday Message on it

For my last in the Manhattan flower series, I simply took a piece of Barely Banana cardstock, ran it thriugh the Big Shot inside the clean embossing folder and then used my watercolor crayons and water brush to color the depressed areas. as before I cut out the embossed flower, glued it to the base cardstock, this time old olive and added the text creating a Sympathy Card.
