Sue Astheimer!!! Congratulations! You are the winner of my Blog Candy for the Royal Blog Tour. So what is it, you ask?
A tutorial for a brand new project created just this past week. I wanted to give you something special. Something no one else could. I saw the cutest set of numbers early last week and came up with a different kind of Advent calendar.
We have all had the ones with candy inside, or bible verses or pictures. And while these kind of countdowns are fun and in some cases fattening. I thought about all the fun memories of holidays past and thought — how about an Advent Journal? A Journal where you could record a special memory each day and enjoy reading it in future years or even adding to a page here or there as new memories are made.
So using A Cute Christmas stamp set, My Digital Studio and Candy Cane Lane DSP; I created a Journal for Advent. Here is what the finished Journal looks like.
As my blog Candy winner, you will receive a full tutorial with lots of graphics to show you how to make this cool little journal.
Attached to the tutorial are the printable files to print your own numbers and front cover embellishments and even matching lined paper for writing your journal entries on.
So, no – you don’t have to have My Digital Studio, but once you see my embellishments you may want to. And here is what the inside looks like! Each of these pages is a pocket with a separate sheet of decorated lined paper for recording your memories.
