As I was making cards these past several days, I just piled up my leftover bits of cardstock in a pile and kept looking at the bits as I worked on other projects. When you take an 8½” by 11” piece of card stock and cut it down to 8”by 8”, you end up with an odd sized large section ( 8½” by 3”). I could cut it smaller yet for a 3”by 3” card but I decided to see how it looked—- I dug thru my pile of leftover bits from the Ice Cream Parlor DSP pack and voila!
And the card fit perfectly in one of the leftover reply size envelopes I got when I was sending out banquet invites for a fund raiser several years ago.
See the strips on the top and bottom – that is one of the throwaway divider sections on the adhesive die cuts page. Frugal meets creativity.
