This card was the card of the month in my Jan newsletter. I enjoyed making it despite the occasion so thought I would share it on my blog as well. To get the pale purple in the flower I used the Aqua painter and pulled a little Concord crush onto my brush and spread a diluted layer inside the flower petals. (With a lot of water the color looks so different)
Then I finished the inside by stamping the verse with Wild wasabi on a piece of Whisper White and embellished with the butterfly in the upper right and repeated the flower again on the bottom left. I even stamped the butterfly on the outside of the envelope.
