My mother loves Lighthouses and when I saw the Uncharted Territory set – boy, did I see the possibilities! I also saw a sketch on one of the blogs I follow and just had to try to put the two together. The blog with the sketch was Stampin 411. thanks for the inspiration gals.

For my second Lighthouse card  I decided to pull out my new Stampin Pastels and play with coloring with chalk. Using the Aqua Painter and chalks gave this card a very soft summer day feel.

Both of these cards will find a home with my Mom. She is a great lady who I don’t acknowledge near as much as she deserved. Love ya, Mom!

On the inside I used the verse from the same stamp set. It is a lovely sentiment that is appropriate for many occasions.
