I have found that little 3 by 3 cards are quick and fun to make and are usable as a card or a gift enclosure. This one could be Valentine, Anniversary or just a quick I love you.
It all depends on what you put inside. For both of these cards I started with the same simple sketch and then picked and stamped my main element. I kind of wanted the colored scallop around a circle with the image inside but of the images I chose only the bottom one actually fit in a circle punch and then inside the scallop so instead for the little girl, I used the largest scallop punch- punched out the image and sponged the edges. Then decided I needed another piece of cardstock on top of the dsp.
