On a recent trip to my daughter’s I discovered the central element of this card. Jen had made a pile of leftovers from other projects- cardstock and DSP scraps and test images. You know how when you are trying a new technique, stamp or tool; you often get a few images that just don’t look like you intended and you think – maybe I’ll use it later and it goes in the box or bag of leftovers. The letterpress image was from back when the letterpress plates were first introduced and we were playing with things to see what worked best. I simply trimmed it out to show just the center and framed it with a piece of Soft Suede punched out with the Scallop Trim Border punch along the bottom edge.
I don’t intend to wait until Halloween but will use it as a birthday card for isn’t age simply another Trick or Treat?
