Are you afraid of mice? The only ones I want in my house are made of plastic or rubber.
When I saw this stamp I just had to get it and some action wobbles too. They are so much fun. A friend gave me a card she made this year for Christmas with a snow angel that jiggles. Too cool!
This was my first take on this tag. I got the idea for the background from a tag Sandy Allnock did for Ellen Hudson’s feminine tags challenge. But then I did it my way. I placed the stamped bell on the mini action wobble on her tail and decided my mouse was going to hold the sentiment in one hand. I quickly discovered that my tag die was too short for this mouse. So I gave myself the challenge of making it taller. While not easy it wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be to line it all up and feed through the Big Shot. I used copics for Coloring the mouse and on this first one I used the red & white bakers twine for all my ribbon. My base was a piece of Old Olive Cardstock that I embossed with the Stitched Coverplate Die by Ellen Hudson. My Tag itself was die cut out of Very Vanilla Cardstock. and though it doesn’t show in the photo the bell and the zipper have Wink of Stella Sparkle.
For the next tag, I used a tiny jingle bell from Stampin Up on his tail dangled the stamped bell from the ribbons. For the ribbon I used a retired real red polka dot grosgrain ribbon and tied it with the red metallic bakers twine from the Holiday 2016 catalog.
The next tag is just like the previous except my husband suggested not using the stamped bell — so I attached it to the back as shown below.
My final variation uses Emerald Envy cardstock instead of old olive. Even though everything else is the same the change in the color of the green background changed the way the mouse himself looked. Do you like the variation? I’m not sure I do. Let me know your thoughts
Well i’m done with Christmas tags for another year.
Have a veryMerry Christmas!
‘Til next time…Happy Stamping!
