As I prepared for the release of the 2017 Occasions catalog, several of my SU team headed by our upline Jennifer Blomquist, participated in a card swap of cards created from the new catalog. I created this card using the Mediterranean Moments, Flourishing Phrases(sentiment) stamp sets.

I had fun watercoloring the cat image from the Mediterranean Moments after I stamped it on Watercolor paper using Archival Basic Black ink. I lifted the color from the lid of the ink pads. I also added Wink of Stella to the pillow.

It was fun using the Stitched Shaped Framelits to cut out the watercolor paper image and then cut out the mat using the Framelits Layering Ovals scallop die.

I used Crumb cake cardstock as my cardbase and added an Old Olive cardstock strip down the center on top of a piece of Party Animal DSP. I used Soft Suede Ink to sponge the edges of all the rectangle pieces.
