This Friday I had the pleasure to participate in an Online Crafty PJ Party hosted by my Stampin Up upline and daughter, Jennifer Blomquist for her team. It was a lot of fun crafting and visiting with all the team members who could take the time to visit for a few hours on Facebook. During the event, Jen challenged us to create a card with a virgin stamp set – i.e. one we had never opened or used. I chose the Avant Garden stamp set (#143272) from the 2017 SAB Catalog. I stamped the flower image with Mint Macaron on Very Vanilla cardstock. I colored the daffodils buds with Daffodil Delight marker and used a Delightful Dijon marker for the centers. I then fussy cut the flower and a leaf group also stamped with Mint Macaron on Very vanilla. The Crumbcake cardstock was embossed with a retired SU embossing folder. Then I stamped greenery along the lower third of the card with 2 of the images. Then after I figured out where I wanted to put the flower, I stamped 2 of the pouffy images using daffodil delight ink. Then used a dimensional to adhere the flower. To finish the card I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink and mounted the design piece on an Early Espresso Card base.
‘Til next time…Happy Stamping!
