April2017 Onstage Make-n-takes

April2017 Onstage#2

In April2017 Onstage was a real blast. There were 6 of us there from Fun-n-Crafty Stampers. One of the things I enjoy most is playing with new products. This time we made 3 make-n-takes.

First – Delightful Daisy

The first Make-n-take featured the new Delightful Daisy Suite. We made a thank you card using several new products. First we got to stamp and punch out the daisy. And don’t you just love the new faceted jewels in the center. Another fun part of this suite is the Designer paper. It is so bright and fun. Finally we got to use a piece of the new daffodil delight stitched ribbon. Super cool!

2nd Color Theory Memories

April2017 Onstage crd#2My second April2017 Onstage Make-n-take had us delving into another new suite. Starting off with 3 cards from the Color Theory Memories & More Card Pack, I cut out pink flower. Next I trimmed the grid card to 3 ¼” by 4 ¼”. At this point I have all my pieces cut and ready to go . The card base is made from a 8 ½” by 5 ½” piece of the new Tranquil Tide cardstock scored at 4¼”.

After you have folded at the score on your card base stamp the small flower array from the Colorful Seasons stamp set. Glue the grid onto the base with tape runner so that it is straight but slightly to the right. Next I tilted my green 3″by 4″ card just a little and adhered it with stampin Dimensionals. Add the ribbon with a glue folding under the left side. It is one of the new 3/8″ Mini Chevron Ribbons. Love this Crushed Curry color and the feel of the ribbon is so soft and silky feeling. Lastly I attached the pink flower with dimensionals and just had to add one of the new Gold Faceted jewels to the center.

3rd Birthday Memories Suite

April2017 Onstage #1This card is my favorite of all three April2017 Onstage Make-n-take cards. Not only does the Birthday Memories suite contain dies to match the stamps but the images on many to the pages of Designer paper are the same size as the dies. In this card I die cut the fox and the banner from the designer paper. Then I stamped the sentiments on a piece of Pacific Point cardstock and on the banner. I took a strip of the striped designer paper and placed it behind the main sentiment as a mat. After gluing the matted sentiment down I stamped the presents in a row. Yes, my presents are a little wonky. I kept getting distracted with all the new info they were feeding us during the make-n-take sessions. I mounted the fox and his banner with dimensions and Voila! This card was done.
