Back in July I showed you how to make a Dispenser for baby treat boxes. Then life got busy and how to make the boxes for inside the dispenser never posted. But forgetting is fixable. So today is all about the boxes to hold your goodies.

Creating the Baby Treat Boxes

First you cut a piece of cardstock to 6¼” x 3¾”. Next score on the long side at 1¼”, 2½”, 3¾”, and  5″. Turn 90 degrees. And score on the short side at ⅛”, 1¼”,  2½” and 3⅝”. Now score at ¾” and 3″ down to the second score line. See diagram below.

At this point you are ready to assemble your box with liquid glue or strong adhesive such as tear-n-tape. First fold up the front sides (front has notch) and adhere to the inside of the next panel. Then bring the back up and adhere flaps to the inside as well. Now slightly taper the sides of the front flap to make it easier to insert it.

Finally decorate the top of the boxes as desired. For my decor I used a 1″ circle punch in whisper white with encouraging sentiments and matted it with some coordinating designer paper. In order to completely fill your dispenser you need to make 5 Baby Treat Boxes.
